About Us

The Department of Management Studies started in the year 2008 and permanently affiliated to Anna University, Chennai, is well equipped with adequate infrastructure and competent faculty. The program has an annual intake of 60 students. The students must complete dual specialization with HR as one of the specializations. The first year comprises of core courses covering all the functions of management. In the second year, apart from the Nine compulsory courses, students are free to choose their electives based on their specializations. Our budding managers are continually exposed to industry scenario through Guest Lectures, Industrial Visits, Industry – Institute interactions, Conferences, Workshops, etc., The Department offers opportunities to the students to specialize in areas like Human Resource Finance, Marketing, Systems, Entrepreneurship Development, Operations, Logistics and Shipping Management, Tourism and Hotel Management and Hospital Management.
