Tamil Mandram

Tamil Mandram in ESEC has been functioning with emphasis upon keeping up Tamil culture and heritage with a view to improve the quality & enrichment of Tamil language in Engineering College. A lot of literature-oriented activities are being carried out. The students are properly guided to show their flair in reading many books in Tamil. They are encouraged to take part in elocution conducted by other colleges. Through the activities of Tamil Mandram, students can enable themselves to bring out their talent of writing, debating and reciting excellently well. On Full moon day, every sort of programme such as speech of Tamil scholars, drama or classical songs of great Tamil singers is being conducted not only to entertain the students but also to make them realize value of mother tongue, Tamil. It is used to gain knowledge and experience in English and to bring out the innate talents of the Engineering students about their traditional values.
