2020 –Started the course with an Intake of 30(The Robotics & Automation program was launched to meet the emerging industry demand for skilled engineers in automation, robotics.)

2021 –Department Inaugurated by President Mr.Kamalamurugan(The formal inauguration marked the operational beginning of the department, symbolizing institutional commitment to the new discipline.)

2022 – Established Robotics Laboratory(The Robotics Laboratory was developed to provide students with experiential learning in robot design.)

2022 –Established CNC Machining center(The CNC Machining Center was commissioned to expose students to computer-controlled manufacturing processes and precision machining skills.)

2025 – Established Plasma Cutting Machine(A Plasma Cutting Machine is a device (A Plasma Cutting Machine was added to the department’s workshop infrastructure, enhancing capabilities in advanced metal cutting and fabrication using plasma technology — a key industrial process for conductive metals. Plasma cutting employs a high-velocity jet of ionized gas (plasma) to melt and separate metal workpieces.)
