National Level Hackathon on “Sinthan’AI
The National Level Hackathon on “Sinthan’AI” was successfully organized in coordination with the Institution’s Innovation Council and the Departments of Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning and Cyber Security. The 24-hour event was conducted from 05.03.2026 to 06.03.2026 at the Convention Center, providing a dynamic platform for students to showcase their creativity and technical expertise.
The hackathon featured eminent industry experts including: Mr. R. Subaash, Managing Director of CloudZoo India Software; Mr. Gowtham Krishnamoorthy from Nutz Technovation Private Limited, Erode.The resource persons shared valuable insights, mentored participants, and evaluated innovative solutions developed during the event.
Students actively participated in teams, working intensively to design and develop AI-based solutions addressing real-world challenges. The event encouraged innovation, problem-solving, teamwork, and practical application of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and machine learning.
This programme created a strong platform for experiential learning and fostered an entrepreneurial mindset among students. It also promoted collaboration, creativity, and the ability to work under pressure in a competitive environment. Overall, the hackathon enhanced students’ technical skills, innovation capabilities, and readiness to tackle real-world problems using advanced technologies.


Hands-on Workshop on AI-Powered Cyber Forensics: Driving Start-up Innovation in Digital Security
The Hands-on Workshop on AI-Powered Cyber Forensics: Driving Start-up Innovation in Digital Security was successfully conducted on 27.10.2025, as a self-driven initiative under the start-up theme. The session was handled by Mr. S. Sunil Kumar, Assistant Professor in Cyber Forensics from the University of Madras, Chennai, who shared valuable insights on integrating artificial intelligence with cyber forensics to build innovative digital security solutions.
Students gained practical exposure to AI-driven techniques in cyber threat detection, digital forensics, and malware analysis through interactive sessions and demonstrations. The workshop provided an understanding of how artificial intelligence can be applied in investigating cybercrimes, analyzing digital evidence, and strengthening incident response systems. Participants actively engaged in learning about the development of intelligent forensic tools, security automation, and risk mitigation strategies.
The programme also created awareness about emerging opportunities in cybersecurity startups and highlighted the importance of ethical AI practices, data privacy, and legal compliance. It encouraged students to explore entrepreneurial ventures in the field of digital security and cyber forensics. Overall, the workshop enhanced students’ technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and innovative thinking in building AI-driven cybersecurity solutions.


Seminar on “Kickstarting a Career in AI & ML with Secure Deployment and DevSecOps Practices”
The Seminar on “Kickstarting a Career in AI & ML with Secure Deployment and DevSecOps Practices” was successfully conducted on 26.08.2025, as a self-driven initiative under the theme of design thinking. The resource person, Mr. Govendhan C, Project Manager at KGiSL, Coimbatore, shared valuable insights on building a career in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning with a strong focus on secure deployment and DevSecOps practices.
The objective of the seminar was to provide participants with a clear understanding of how to design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models securely in real-world environments. It aimed to introduce students to modern industry practices such as MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, cloud-based deployment, and security integration throughout the software development lifecycle. The session also focused on design thinking approaches to solve real-world problems, ensuring innovation, scalability, and risk management in AI solutions.
Students gained knowledge on integrating AI models with secure and scalable systems while understanding the importance of cybersecurity in deployment. The seminar highlighted practical approaches, industry use cases, and strategies for innovation development, technology maturity, and strategic planning. Participants actively engaged and developed awareness of career opportunities in AI, DevSecOps, and modern software engineering.
This programme enhanced students’ technical competency, problem-solving ability, and industry readiness by bridging the gap between theoretical AI knowledge and enterprise-level deployment practices.
