Electrical and Electronics Engineering

The EEE department, started in 1996, has a team of highly qualified and experienced faculty. With its exceptional infrastructure, the department accentuates on sound practical knowledge, while nurturing creativity in the student community. The department offers B.E in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, M.E. in Power Electronics & Drives and Ph.D. programs. The UG program has been accredited by the NBA consecutively for the past 12 years. The Department has well equipped laboratories such as Electrical Machines laboratory, Power Systems Simulation Laboratory, Control Systems laboratory, Electrical Measurements laboratory, Power Electronics & Drives Laboratory, Renewable Energy Laboratory and Electrical workshop Laboratory. The department has Centre of Excellence in Electric Vehicle Technology. The faculty members have been active in teaching and research activities and regularly producing research publications in international and national journals and conferences. Students passed out from this department get excellent placements through campus selection both in the core area industries and software companies of national and international level.
