II Year Agricultural Engineering students visited Agricultural Research Station, Bhavnisagar. They  learned about the latest technologies of Agriculture. They learned the Mat nursery for machine planting of paddy, paddy transplanter and combined harvester to harvest paddy efficiently without loss in yield. Identification of weeds for their management,conducting field trials,drip irrigation systems for efficient water use and vermicomposting technologies were also learnt by the students. The visit to Bhavanisagar Agricultural Research Station was highly useful and informative.  This exposure motivated the students to explore innovativesolutions for agricultural development.
