Green Club
Purpose
The Green Club of Erode Sengunthar Engineering College aims to promote environmental awareness and sustainable practices among students, faculty, and staff. It seeks to foster a sense of responsibility towards environmental protection and to encourage participation in activities that contribute to the conservation of natural resources. The club acts as a platform for students to learn, act, and lead initiatives that ensure a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable campus environment.

Functions
The Green Club plays a pivotal role in integrating environmental values into the college culture. Its major roles include:
- Awareness Creation: Educating students and staff on environmental issues such as pollution control, waste management, and biodiversity conservation.
- Sustainability Initiatives: Implementing eco-friendly measures such as energy conservation, tree plantation, and waste segregation.

Responsibilities
The members of the Green Club are expected to:

- Celebrate important environmental days such as World Environment Day, Earth Day, and Ozone Day.

- Document and submit reports on the club’s activities to the college administration periodically.
